Can regional cooperation boost China’s Candle exports?

Content:
Against a reshuffling global political and economic landscape, China’s candle factories are actively leveraging regional cooperation to counter external challenges. With deeper RCEP implementation, exports of tealight candles, fluted candles, pillar candles, and ghee candles to Asian neighbors have strengthened, helping stabilize foreign trade. This trend partially offsets slowing Western demand for unscented White Candles and church candles.

Take ASEAN: it remains a top market for bulkbuy tealight candles and long-burning stick candles, with cooperation growing in industrial chains and the digital economy. Meanwhile, Chinese manufacturers are accelerating efforts to join CPTPP and DEPA, aiming to build a broader network for scented glass jar candles, 7-day memorial candles, and lotus-shaped candles. Analysts note that actively shaping regional trade rules while fostering a diversified “circle of friends” for products like flameless smokeless tealights, cotton wick candles, prayer candles, non-drip taper sticks, ribbed fluted candles, ivory pillar candles, vegetable wax candles, and custom logo glass jar candles is key to resisting global risks and sustaining long-term trade vitality.
